publishing, design, research + web intern(s)
Location: San Francisco, CA. Possibility for remote or additional NYC location.
We are looking for students of landscape architecture, planning or urban design interested in working on the Landscape Urbanism website. Candidates should be well-versed in the theories and practice of landscape architecture and urbanism. Strong interests and skills in writing, publishing and graphic design are required and as demonstrated in provided work and writing samples. The position will involve web editing, marketing, and communications. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, savvy self-starters willing to bring fresh ideas and talent to the conversation.
business development and marketing intern
Location: San Francisco, CA.
After launching in Fall 2011, the website grew to a team of over 30 writers and designers with a buzzing community on several social platforms. Our team is looking for a business development intern to continue expanding our web and media presence, to explore new marketing channels, and to research strategic initiatives and partnerships for our journal and website.
Candidates should have an expressed interest in landscape architecture, design, or planning, as well as experience in fundraising, preparing successful grant applications, and undertaking communications and marketing efforts. The intern’s central responsibility will be to develop a long-range business marketing and strategy plan in close collaboration with the founding team. Other responsibilities include: outreach and business development, identifying potential partnerships, coordinating social media and marketing strategies, and working in communications and outreach with professionals, businesses, organizations and institutions.
